WENDY COAD
810 Lincoln Road, Studio 202
Painting

Currently a transplant from New York City to Miami Beach, Wendy Coad’s “American Art” career began in 1985 when she was awarded a position as a studio artist at PS1, The Institute for Art and Urban Resources in New York City. It was a year filled with excitement and productivity as she joined artists from the US and from around the world.
Wendy exhibited at “PS1 and the Clocktower’s” national and international Studio Artist’s Exhibition, Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, Fashion Moda, Printed Matter, the Open Center and Voorhees Gallery. While continuing to live and work in Manhattan she received her Master of Fine Arts at the City University of New York, Hunter College.
Her recent tenure as an artist in residence at the ArtCenter/South Florida has added inspiration and focus and brought another level of creativity to an already remarkable career.
