HUGO MORO & JULES LUSSON 810 Lincoln Road, Studio 109 Mixed Media Jules Lusson has a long family history in Florida, and her work is inspired by the natral world that surrounds her. It centers on the idea of natures ability to reclaim and heal what has been destroyed, and is inspired by the landscape of both nature and memory of South Florida. Hugo Moro was born in Cuba to a family of homemakers, blacksmiths and carpenters. His obsessively planned works are filled with references to social and political themes; during research, he allows himself to follow tangents that add layers of meaning to his work. Jules and Hugo began their friendship and artistic collaboration in 2003, they make art individually, as a team, and as members of the one-three art collective. 305.632.2425 www.juleslusson.com www.hugomoro.com |
