Lissette Schaeffler is a Cuban born photographer with an interest in human relationships. She received her MFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2004. She focuses on families, especially her own. Lissette is fascinated by the kinds of relationships we do not choose. She explores the aging process, the way her family endures it, and ultimately how they relate to her, the photographer. Whether traditional, digital or manipulated, her aesthetic has mainly been documentary, though she is currently exploring a more conceptual point of view within the same theme. Lissette is currently living in Miami.
