ArtCenter’s Professional Development Seminar Series

This series is designed to equip artists and novice and junior arts administrators with the business tools necessary to increase their level of professionalism and ability to practice and promote the arts throughout Miami-Dade County. Seminars generally provide one or multi-day trainings in the legal best practices required for organizational start-up; for the protection of artists’ rights; tax planning; current best practices in arts marketing and public affairs, governance and fund development, including proposal and grant writing; and strategies for running alternative spaces, collectives, and emerging galleries.
