Huang received her Bachelor of Arts for the University of California at Berkeley and then attended the Ohio State University as a graduate fellow receiving a full-tuition scholarship and stipend. Huang’s work often incorporates humor into a commentary of common, everyday objects. She attempts to reveal our cultural signifiers by re-introducing them to the viewer through exaggeration, material re-creation and revision. Huang’s work encompasses a variety of media commonly borrowing elements from popular culture, manifesting itself as a three dimensional objects and/or installation
