Willard Andre Allen is a self-taught artist born in 1965 in New England. A graduate of the Art Institute of America, he recieved an Associate Degree in Advertising Marketing for the music business.
Allen's pieces are complex, both in execution and design. Painting on the 'opposite' side of clear glass, he works with an intuitive understanding of shape and texture where each design results in a melange of color that both incorporate and reflect light when turend over to its rightful side. Allen works with his emotions and his instinct, where each piece emotes a different feeling, emerging as a one-of-a-kind work of art that draws upon the inspiration of the moment.
