Alfonso Corona

Alfonso Corona was born in Mexico City and is based in Miami since 2004. He graduated from Escuela Activa de Fotografia in Mexico City, December 1997. Alfonso worked for more than a decade as commercial photographer for diverse Global Advertising Agencies, Publishing Groups, Record Labels, and Editorials in Europe and the Americas.

He is the youngest photographer ever to be featured inside Architectural Digest. Alfonso was Professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City for 5 years, he’s also Art Examiner for the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and worked as IBO Professor for 7 years. In other professional areas, he’s been a successful manager of two Grammy® winners, Art Director and Creative Consultant for diverse advertising campaigns. Alfonso is also N.C.B.T.M.B Licensed Massage Therapist (L.M.T.) graduated from Educating Hands School in Miami. Bodywork and the diverse massage/wellness modalities are among his other great passions in life. Alfonso is the registered Patent Holder (a.k.a. Inventor) for a water-ski product named ‘Wake Surf’ since 1998.
He’s currently a Resident Artist at the ArtCenter South Florida located in #924 Lincoln Road, studio 101 in Miami Beach, Florida.
