ArtCenter/South Florida is looking to hire a part-time gallery assistant to act as first point of contact for gallery visitors at the front desk and to initiate potential sale of artworks exhibited in the gallery. The candidate MUST HAVE at least one year of sales experience. Interest and/or knowledge of contemporary art is a plus. This person must be an effective communicator and have the ability to draft correspondence as follow-up to all inquiries regarding sale of artwork. Also, must be highly dependable and self-motivated. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. P/T 20-30 hours per week. Commission available for sale of artwork.
