Portfolio Development for High School Applications

This class is designed to help students prepare their art portfolios for entrance into prestigious Miami high schools such as New World School of the Arts (NWSA) and Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH). While promoting individual artistic potential, the class will focus on both portfolio and sketchbook preparation through drawing and mixed media works. Creativity, a variety of ideas and the development of space, line, color, texture, value, form and composition as well as neat and careful presentation of your work, is essential to a successful portfolio review.
