Overview
ArtCenter/ South Florida, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1984, advances the knowledge and practice of contemporary visual arts and culture in South Florida. ArtCenter provides affordable workspace on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach for outstanding visual artists in all stages of career development. ArtCenter provides access to resource and support, creates opportunities for experimentation and innovation, and encourages the exchange of ideas across cultures and professional disciplines via its residency programs. ArtCenter serves the diverse residents and visitors of South Florida through open studios, exhibitions, education, and outreach programming.
ArtCenter houses 45 subsidized workspaces appropriate for visual artists of all genres. Our studios range from 167 to 572 square feet. Studio rents are currently charged at $9.00 per square foot, on an annual basis. Additional charges include a common area fee, a $5.00 Wi-Fi fee, an energy surcharge, a $200 annual fee, and 7% sales tax.
Please note that this is a studio residency only; housing is not included. Artists are responsible for finding and paying for their own housing.
