Marrero is a Cuban-born contemporary artist living in Miami since 1995. She studied, worked, and lived in New York City for seventeen years, where she experienced art and cultural diversity. The abundance of art in New York influenced her determination to move forward in uniting technique and concept in her own work. Marrero works with various mediums to create painting, works on paper, sculptures and the installations.
