Gama is a self-taught artist, freelance curator, writer, and contemporary art collector. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1970, and received an education in science and humanities in San Juan and Madrid. He completed training as a diagnostic radiologist between New York and Boston. From 2004 to 2008 he founded and directed Space Other, an independent contemporary art project space in Boston. Since 2011 he relocated to Miami Beach and pursues his own artistic development.
