A life-long exposure to textiles and sewing, as well as six years working in the New York fashion industry, have cultivated in him an intimate connection with textiles. His use of found fabrics, hand-crafted materials and traditional painting media result in hybrid surfaces that combine to create a mixture of painting, tapestry and installation.
